Many budding writers and photographers out there feel they need to spend weeks if not months travelling in order to produce a decent account of their travels.

There are many, many locations to document and photograph your memories, perhaps leading to publication in one of the travel and photography magazines available.

It doesn’t need great planning, arranging visas, flights, accommodation etc. when small group holidays run by companies such as Explore are available. Mark Davidson will discuss four Explore trips - Delhi to Kathmandu, Moscow to St. Petersburg, Venezuela (The Lost World) and Uzbekistan (The Golden Road to Samarkand). Showing how in a short timescale it is possible to take wonderful photographs and relate stories of a trip to perspective editors, not only as a travel writer and photographer but also as a customer.

The talk will be split into approximately 4 x 10 minute sections with a few minutes at the beginning for the introduction and questions at the end.
