Fun for families and great for grown-ups, a cruising holiday has something for everyone. Venture ashore to browse colourful markets, dine at waterside restaurants or visit historic chateaux. Head into chic cities for sightseeing, museums and shopping or simply enjoy being in the great outdoors with activities such as swimming, kayaking, fishing or cycling.
We’ll aim to address any misconceptions or pre-conceptions people may have as well as cover the various UK and European destinations on offer highlighting the differences of each one and the best things to see and do, from exploring the historic Canal du Midi in the south of France, to ancient monastic settlements in Ireland and the futuristic landscapes of Berlin – all of which are accessible by the waterways.
