Peninsula House, in the Dominican Republic voted best hotel in the Caribbean
The six-suite Peninsula House, in the Dominican Republic, has been voted best hotel in the Caribbean and second best hotel in the world category in the Conde Nast Traveler Best in the World Readers Choice awards.

Situated in Las Terrenas on the North East Coast of the Dominican Republic, the Peninsula House is an exclusive boutique hotel consisting of six junior suites and overlooking the Playa Coson and the Atlantic Ocean with its pool and tropical gardens.

Dominican Republic Golf Course Named ‘Top Golf Course in the Caribbean and Mexico’ by Golfweek Magaz
Punta Espada, the first of three Jack Nicklaus Signature courses located in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic was selected by the prestigious and recognized American magazine Golfweek, as the best golf course of the Caribbean and Mexico in its latest ranking for 2010.

This is not the first time that a golf course in the Dominican Republic has reached the first position of this prestigious annual list, confirming that the island has some of the best golf courses in the Region. In 2009, Punta Espada also occupied the top spot whilst for 2008, Teeth of the Dog located in Casa de Camp and designed by Pete Dye held the accolade (voted 4th for 2010).

The Dominican Republic golf courses have consistently been recognised as having courses of the highest quality in the Region. In fact, Golfweek voted 5 of the golf courses in the Dominican Republic as being within the top 30 for 2010. The others were:
Dye Fore at Casa de Campo designed by Pete Dye (voted 13th)
Playa Grande at Rio San Juan designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. & Roger Rulewich (voted 18th)
