Traditional food & wine from Ta’ Mena and the Island of Gozo

Ta’ Mena will be showcasing the following products during their sessions:
- Ta’ Mena Wine Red
- Ta’ Mena Wine White
- Ta’ Mena Wine Rose
- Ta’ Mena Olive Oil
- Ta’ Mena Sweet sundried Tomato Paste

Ta’ Mena Estate is a  typical Gozitan enterprise producing local food and beverage produce. In the process they are using traditional recipes which were used by their  fore-fathers who did not have refrigerators and freezers,  but still yet had to provide for the winter season.

Their small secret was the use of  the unique Mediterranean Sun and natural preservatives, particularly marine salt, to preserve several foods and beverages namely the Sun Dried Sweet Tomato Paste , the Sun Dried Tomatoes, Wild Capers in Vinegar and the Prickly Pear Liqueur.
