Location: Theatre 2

Marketing Guide book author, John Douglas, shows the beauty and charm of this African gem through some stunning photography. Malawi is now becoming better recognised as one of Africa's most beautiful and diverse countries, offering something for everyone is a safe and welcoming environment. No other country in the continent can offer such a range of scenic delights and experiences in such a small space.- about the size of England.

You will find mountains reaching to 10,000 feet, plateaux providing views across national borders, Africa's third largest and most beautiful lake, waterfalls and valleys that are home to people who are known for the genuine welcome they give visitors. There are nine national parks and reserves with game viewing possible on foot, in a 4x4, on horseback or in a boat. On Lake Malawi, truly an inland sea with white sand beaches, you can indulge in all manner of water sports, from snorkelling and diving to parasailing and kayaking. Malawi is a great place for active holidays from trekking to mountain climbing, trout fishing to quad-biking. This is the favourite retreat of honeymooners, families, singles and small groups: there’s always something for everyone.

Two destination holidays, combining Malawi with Mozambique or Zambia are increasingly popular. Visit Stand AF57 and then see the Warm Heart of Africa through the eyes and lenses of John Douglas who will be happy to answer your questions at the end of this show.
