Many people are revolted by the image of cruising – Vast blocks of flats queuing up to flood ports where hawkers await the brief and unwelcome crowds that swamp a port for a few hours. It doesn’t have to be that way. 

Small ships are, in many places, the best and often the only way to visit a destination. If your interest is in experiencing a destination, its cuisine and culture, spotting the wildlife and spending as much time ashore as possible in small welcoming communities, then small ship cruising may be for you. 

We encourage to spend as much time as possible off the ship, we have no interest in penning you in to spend money in the shops or lose money in the casinos. 
And it is a strange thing about human nature, you will meet more people and make more friends on a ship with 40 passengers than on a ship with 4000.
