 Peru is rightly becoming one of the premier destinations for those wishing to explore Latin America. Peru also boasts some of the most spectacular scenery in South America. The beautiful Peruvian Andes issue a siren's call to top-class trekkers.

This talk will showcase that increased numbers of travellers to Peru can have a positive socio-economic & cultural impact on the people and the regions visited. We’ll also look at how a travel company mobilised its local offices/resources to assist when an earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale hit the province of Ica, approximately 165 miles south of the capital city of Peru, Lima16th August 2007.
