Ed Gorman had a 25-year career at The Times, working ﬁrst as a foreign news correspondent covering wars in Afghanistan, the Balkans and Sri Lanka. He was Ireland correspondent for four years during the Troubles, then the paper’s sailing and Formula One writer and latterly deputy foreign editor and deputy head of news. He now divides his time between writing and his responsibilities as editorial director of a sports management company.
Ed will be talking to John McCarthy on Friday 1st February at 12pm. After the event, Ed will be signing copies of his book Death of a Translator at the 'Signings at Stanfords' stand.
