Peter Frankopan’s The Silk Roads: A New History of the World won a number of awards, is an international bestseller and has been described as a major reassessment of world history. The New Silk Roads brings this story up to date, addressing the present and future of a world that is changing dramatically. Peter Frankopan is Professor of Global History at Oxford University where he is also Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College, Oxford and Director of the Centre for Byzantine Research.
Peter will be talking about The New Silk Roads on Thursday 31st January at 3pm. After the event, Peter will be signing copies of his book at the 'Signings at Stanfords' stand.
