Originally from the UK, Emily has had as a career as marine biologist, researcher and conservationist, alongside a strong interest for travel and exploration. Since June 2022, Emily has combined these passions – overseeing a program of immersive educational experiences for guests on ship-based expeditions, contributing to the collection vital data about our changing planet, and all with a splash of travel thrown in! Emily has experienced some truly iconic wildlife encounters, from polar bears in Svalbard, to penguins in Antarctica, with one of the standout moments being surrounded by over 200 humpback whales in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska.
