What is Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show London about?
Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show, in association with The Times and The Sunday Times, is the UK’s biggest event for travel inspiration taking place at Olympia London from 28 - 31 January 2021 and Manchester’s EventCity from 14- 17 January 2021.
With over 600 travel brands across both shows, including more than 75 tourist boards, over 70 new exhibitors there is no other place to meet so many travel experts and tailor-make your next trip. And to top it all! When you book at Destinations you can enjoy a host of exclusive offers and upgrades!

Destinations is the biggest show in the UK dedicated to travel & holidays. The show gives you the opportunity to browse over 600 brands offering unlimited global travel ideas, including more than 75 tourist boards and over 70 new exhibitors. Meet with the experts, tailor-make your next trip, then book at the show and enjoy a host of exclusive offers and upgrades! You will also be inspired at the Stanfords Travel Writers Festival where some of the UK’s best known explorers, adventurers, historians, novelists and TV personalities will be talking about their own adventures.
Where can I purchase tickets for Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show Olympia London from 31 January - 3 February 2019
Tickets are available for Destinations: The Holiday and Travel Show here. Standard Advanced Tickets are priced at £11 and are subject to a £1.50 booking fee. Children under 12 can attend for free by filling in a ‘kids go free’ form at the event. You can also book over the phone by calling 0844 412 4627. Calls cost 7p per minute plus network extras. Advance tickets can be purchased online until midnight on 29 January 2020.
Tickets for the Travel Photography Masterclass with professional photographers Steve Davey and Paul Goldstein are also available to purchase for the following sessions: An Introduction To Photography, Advanced DSLR Skills, Telling A Story With Composition, Shooting Travel Portraits, Making Travel Photography Pay, Capturing The Moment and Capturing A Sense Of Place. On the door, tickets are priced at £15.
Is my ticket valid for any day of the show?
Yes, you may use your standard adult ticket on any day of the show. Please note that one ticket does not grant you access to the show over multiple days. If you intend to visit for multiple days, you will need to buy additional tickets.
I have lost my ticket, what do I do?
Not to worry, we can help you get a new one. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for help with this.
Can I get a free ticket for my carer?
Yes. Carers accompanying a Blue Badge holder can get free entry. Your carer will need to complete a 'Carers Go Free' form when they arrive at the show. Please ensure you present a Blue Badge to qualify.
Can I bring my children for free?
Yes. Children aged 12 and under accompanied by a paying adult can get free entry to the show. You might be required to show proof of your child's age. To qualify, simply fill out a 'Kids Go Free' form when you arrive at the show.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are strictly forbidden by Olympia's animal admission policy. The only exceptions where animals may enter the venue are for Assistance Animals. You may be required to prove your animal is able to qualify.
Is there parking?
Yes, there are paid parking facilites around the venue. For more information on the location of the venue's car parks please click here.
Is there an entrance for disabled visitors?
Disabled visitors can access the venue via the normal entrance to the Grand Hall. From there, there is a small wheelchair lift into the Grand. To get to the Gallery Level, there is a customer lift located to the right of the hall, next to the Pillar Hall.
When will my tickets arrive?
If you bought your tickets in advance of the show either online or by phone, in most cases you will have defined whether you wanted your tickets posted or emailed to you. If you selected that you would like your tickets posted, they will normally arrive with you 1 to 2 weeks before the show. If you selected that you would like your tickets emailed, they will have been sent to the booker's email address straight after the purchase was completed. Which Holiday Destinations will be represented at the Show?
Holiday destinations from around the globe will be available under one roof. Specific areas within the show are also dedicated to areas of the world, including: The Visit USA Pavilion, The Lata Pavilion, The Experience The World Stages include Asia, The Americas and Europe. There is also a range of destinations discussed in our Meet The Experts Theatres and if you’re looking for off-the-beaten-track activity and adventure tours visit our Destinations Discovery in partnership with Escapism Magazine.
Can I book my next Holiday Adventure direct at The Holiday and Travel Show?
Yes you can book a number of adventure holidays and expeditions at The Holiday and Travel Show. A number of operators will also be offering exclusive show discounts and offers.
Which celebrity TV speakers and travellers attended the show in 2019?
Destinations London will be hosting a huge range of travel historians, explorers, adventurers, novelists and TV personalities. Headliners this year include Kate Humble, Levison Wood Nicholas Crane and Sir Chris Bonington. Kate Humble an English television presenter, author and narrator will talk to Julia Wheeler about the benefits of walking and her book Thinking on My Feet in which she recorded her walks (and runs) throughout a single year, but also charted her feelings and impressions throughout. After the talk, Kate will be signing copies of Thinking on My Feet at the ‘Signings at Stanfords’ stand. British explorer, writer and photographer Levison Wood will be talking to Paul Blezard about his life as an adventurer and his latest book Arabia. Following in the footsteps of great explorers such as Lawrence of Arabia and Wilfred Thesiger, Arabia is Levison Wood's account of his most complex expedition yet: circumnavigating the Arabian Peninsula. After the talk, Levison will be signing copies of his books, including Arabia at the ‘Signings at Stanfords’ stand. Britain’s greatest mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington will be discussing his six decade career of climbing peaks, across all continents. After the talk, Chris will be signing copies of his book Ascent at the ‘Signings at Stanfords’ stand. Author and broadcaster Nicholas Crane will be discussing why geography has never been more important to us and the knowledge that will aid us as we look to the future of the planet. After the talk, Nicholas will be signing copies of his books, including You Are Here at the ‘Signings at Stanfords’ stand.
Also attending will be TV Presenter, Explorer & Author Benedict Allen, Novelist & Former MEP Stanley Johnson, Chef & Citalia Brand Ambassador Gennaro Contaldo, plus TV Presenter & Travelsphere Travel Ambassador Penny Smith.
