Middle East: Baba Ganoush
Baba Ganoush is a Middle Eastern dip made from roasted aubergine, with tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. Usually served with warm pita bread or vegetables, it has a delicious smoky flavour – especially if cooked over live fire! The dish is thought to have originated in Lebanon, although it is also very popular in Countries in the region such as Syria, Israel and of course, Worldwide.
