Reza Pakravan is an explorer and filmmaker. He is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a recipient of the 2019 Explorer Award from the Scientific Exploration Society. His films have taken audiences to some of the most remote corners of the world. He has presented and produced TV series aired worldwide on networks such as BBC, Channel 4, Fox CBC and Aljazeera. He recently has completed his epic journey to become the first person in modern history to have travelled the full length of the Africa from West to East via the Sahel region. Reza’s constant thirst for adventure has earned him the Guinness World Record for crossing the Sahara Desert by bicycle. Pushing his ultra endurance limits further, he cycled the 11,000-mile length of the planet from north to south in the record time of 102 days.  He is currently a featured contributor to The Outdoor Journal, Travel Africa Magazine.
