Anita Rani
Anita Rani is an award-winning broadcaster with a passion for travel, storytelling and saying yes to adventure. She is equally at home on radio, television and in print. Anita presents BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour every Thursday and Friday, and has been a key part of BBC One’s Countryfile for over a decade. She fronts high-profile series including BBC One’s My Life At Christmas and Channel 4’s Aldi’s Next Big Thing, and her latest documentary The Brontës by Anita Rani: Sisters of Disruption for Sky Arts explored the lives and legacy of the famous literary sisters.
Her memoir The Right Sort of Girl was released in 2021, becoming a Sunday Times bestseller. Beyond broadcasting, Anita serves as Chancellor of the University of Bradford and as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador. Her passion for travel and discovery has also led to her role as an ambassador for Discover the World, with 2025 already taking her on journeys to Iceland, the Arctic and Costa Rica.
She is currently on screens in BBC One’s Celebrity Race Across the World, where she and her dad are embarking on an unforgettable adventure together.
