SMALL SHIP ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CRUISING
With 30 years of experience, Seafarer has established itself as the UK’s leading small ship cruise tour operator, offering island-hopping and coastal voyages on vessels typically accommodating no more than 50 passengers. Cruising in an environmentally friendly way, taking care of the oceans, and looking after beaches, is a major part of our cruise and holiday philosophy. In particular, working with Greek based Variety Cruises, we have eliminated single use plastic from vessels, organised beach clean-ups with our passengers, and moved to the most efficient fuel systems available. Three of our vessels are motor-sailors and cruise under the power of the wind whenever possible.
The small ship philosophy has the added benefit of being able to get guests close-up and personal to even the smallest harbours and waterfronts that large cruise liners cannot reach. We support the small town and island economies we visit by shopping local, whilst our low numbers never flood and dominate destinations.
Our itineraries range from island-hopping in Greece, the Seychelles, and the Cape Verde archipelago, through cruising the Gambia River to exploring French Polynesia from Tahiti and beyond. If you’re looking to cruise in a more socially responsible way, where ‘small is beautiful’, call in on our stand and talk to one of our experts.
